Cleaning Auto Parts is Easier With an Industrial Parts Washer by Jordan Rocksmith
Most vehicles now have automatic transmissions, but in larger trucks like the kind the parcel companies use standard transmissions are still the standard. Standard transmissions in larger trucks are more dependable but in time the gears wear out and the transmission have to be rebuilt.
These trucks are taken to a shop where the transmission is pulled out of the truck and taken to a transmission shop. In the transmission shop the transmission is taken apart and the worn out parts are inspected and repaired or replaced. The bearings are always replaced even if they are not bad and some of the gears might only need to be reground and have the synchronization rings replaced. All the parts are not new will need to be cleaned, for this cleaning the parts are put in industrial parts washers.
Industrial parts washers work with soaps and heat to remove all dirt and oil from parts that other wise would be almost imposable to clean. Now that all the new parts are there and the old ones are repaired and cleaned, the reassembling of the transmission can begin. The bearings the gears the synchronization rings and the shift arms are all put together with precision fit and the transmission is taken back to the shop and reinstalled in the truck and the truck is back in duty.
These trucks are in high demand so all this is done in a matter of two or three days. Each time a transmission is rebuilt it is entered into the records or a log book so the company can keep track of how well each rebuild performs and to see to it that there is no abuse by the drivers. The drivers will have high recommendations if the job is done in good time and with the least break downs.
