What is the best camera (dslr) for taking night pictures?
I now have a Canon Rebel XS but it doesn’t take pictures at night too well. When I do turn the flash on, it makes the quality of the picture really bad.
Yes, you are being bedeviled by what is called high ISO noise or when using the flash, overexposure.
The only camera that seems to have overcome this problem is the $4900 Nikon D3. As time goes on, this technology will improve. Until then, you can buy Photoshop ($1,000) and the plug-in Noise Ninja ($45) and reduce the noise after you finish shootng.
