I like to shoot Off Camera? Help Art?
Now that the flashes i have wont work I need a off dedicated flash for canon Xs Now Help
To shoot with off camera flash, you can either buy a cord that fits on your hotshoe, and links the flash to the camera, or infra-red link trigger/ Flash Speedlight units (commander mode). Canon flashes often have this built in, and work with some DSLRs but I’m unsure about your particular model… All these keep e-ttl function.
Cheap wireless triggers are also available on ebay which allow you to use any flash, but you lose the computer e-ttl function… Not a problem if you shoot in manual mode.
