Cpu is turned on but the monitor does not respond and stays in the sleep mode?
when i turn on the cpu it starts fine. but the monitor stays in the sleep mode. i am absolutely sure that all connections between cpu , monitor and power are fine. also there is a second light on cpu that doesnt turn on. this second light is i guess the hard disk light.
what could be the problem ?
There should be two main reason behind it
1) Lithium battery (Coin Size Battery on Motherboard) is expired
2) RAM module is not working.
Try to insert new lithium battery if it wont work check RAM module
