Pro Gamers Evil Geniuses Go Hollywood In New eSports Documentary Good Game (Forbes)
Just because the 2011 Major League Gaming season has wrapped doesn’t mean
there’s not still eSports news. In fact, pro gaming is about to get even more
of a limelight with a new documentary film. Cameras were capturing the live
footage of the MLG Finals last month, but there was also a director capturing
StarCraft II pro gaming team Evil Geniuses (Team EG), including Justin “JWong”
Wong, Greg “IdrA” Fields, and Isaac “Azael” Cummings-Bentley. Mary Ratliff was
filming for Good Game: A Film About Evil Geniuses, which will be released in
2012. The director of the new documentary talks about the rise of eSports into
mainstream entertainment in this exclusive interview.
