DVR flashing power & record light?
OK – Need help and google is failing me…
It’s 2:50 am in NL right now.. I have a (somewhat older) DVR harddisc recorder from Samsung (DC8 P850RS). I’d fallen asleep while watching TV.. when I woke, the TV was telling me there’s no signal and my DVR powerlight & recording indicator lights keeping flashing briefly on and off. When I switch off the main power switch, the lights continue to flash and slowly fade and stop. Left the power off for a good 10 minutes, switched it back on and the flashing continues…
Is it dead? Is there anything I can do to save it? 
Please – help me!
Leaving the power off doesn’t always work. Unplug it from the wall outlet and let it set for 5 mins. and look for a reset on the machine.
If it doesn’t work, Samsung has a good site for troubleshooting
