Gary Fong’s Photograph whale tail reporter Dome Diffuser Equipments. Are they any good?
seriously I see it all over the net and everyone is claiming he is a god but I have not seen anyone using it . I watch the news and I dont see any papparazi using it or any reporters. Is it just a gimmick? it’s expensive too. I dont see Joe Mcnally using it
I use the cloud dome and it is best used close to the subject. You also need to increase the power of the flash output. It does, however, lend a really nice light to indoor photos. I have a friend with the Whale Tail, but he prefers the dome.
