Which cameras are usually the best for shooting in low light – Nikon or Canon?
Which is better for shooting in low light? (and produces photos with the least noise/grain).
Yes, I know that it varies with different models… and there has been extensive debate over which camera is better, but I am trying to choose between Canon or Nikon and I’m not sure which is the best for shooting in low light. I understand this may be a hard question to answer, but I would really like to hear some opinions from those who have a lot of experience with both Canon and Nikon cameras.

I like to think Nikon, the D700 outperforms the Mark II in low light with less noise, but that’s because of the lower mega pixels, either one is good, but if you are that concerned I would say go with Nikon, they are both equally good, but I don’t know how Canon’s are, cause I am a Nikon user. But I am sure they are too similar to notice a difference.
