When the announcement of the Sony A77 hit the airwaves it was accompanied by a fair bit of hype, as the new hero in the SLT / DSLR Sony line up came with 12 fps Continuous Shooting, High-precision Continuous AF Translucent Mirror Technology, a 24.3 Megapixel Exmor APS-C size HD CMOS sensor and a newly developed BIONZ image processor.
